Cornhole
Played either one-on-one or in teams of two, cornhole is truly a classic for outdoor celebrations. It is a fairly simple game where the only objective is to toss a bean bag into a raised platform. That being said, it is perfect for parties because people can just jump right in without needing a lot of instruction. Bocce
Another classic summer game, Bocce always tends to be a crowd favorite. The game involves trying to have your team’s balls closer to the “jack” than the closest ball of the other team. For each time this occurs during the game, your team receives a point. The length of the game can vary but tends to go on until a team scores within the range of 7-13 points. In terms of teams, there are always two teams but they can be made up of either one, two, three, or four players. It’s important to practice your skills because since Pittsburgh has Major League Bocce, the competition can be fierce.
Food & Drinks
No party, whether it be inside or outside, would be complete without food and drink. Whip up a sweet summer cocktail and pair it with some satisfying snacks and your guests are sure to be impressed. Sip on an Arnold Palmer, a Pittsburgh classic, or feel free to get creative. In terms of food, you could do a full-on barbeque or just supply some light appetizers in order to keep your guests hunger at bay.
Entertainment
At some point, your guests are bound to tire themselves out after eating and playing various games. They will want to relax. However, that doesn’t mean that they don’t want to still be entertained.
