3 Holiday Cocktails You Need to Try

The holidays are all about getting together with friends and family, enjoying each other’s company and celebrating another wonderful year. Another great part of the holidays is all the great food and drink. This includes some seasonal cocktails to help you get into the holiday spirit. Here are just a few of our favorites to try at home.
Salted Caramel White Russian
This is a fresh holiday take on a one of the classics. You’ll feel like a festive version of “The Dude” for sure. Here’s what you’ll need:

1 Shot of Vodka

1 Shot of Kahlua (or your favorite coffee liqueur)

Half and Half

1 tablespoon of salted caramel sauce

Ice
Start by drizzling your glass with your caramel sauce. Then fill the glass with ice (if you prefer). Add vodka and liqueur, filling the rest of the glass with half and half. Stir and enjoy!
Cranberry Old Fashioned
An Old Fashioned is a great classic cocktail. With a little imagination, you can bring this traditional drink to your holiday celebrations with a little cranberry. All you’ll need is:

¼ cup bourbon

Bitters

Club soda

Orange slice

2 tablespoon of cranberry sauce

1 sugar cube
Mash the orange, sugar and bitters in a glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice, and then stir in your favorite bourbon and the cranberry sauce with just a splash of club soda for a little fizz.You can garnish with more oranges and cranberries for a festive flair.
Hot Toddy
This is a classic drink that will warm you right up on a cold winter’s night. It’s a simple recipe that’ll take you about five minutes to make. Here are the ingredients you’ll need:

2 tablespoons of bourbon

1 tablespoon of honey

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

¼ cup of boiled water
Put your bourbon, lemon juice and honey into your favorite mug. Add your hot water and stir until the honey is dissolved. And that’s it! Cozy up around a fire pit and enjoy.
