Party Fouls and How to Avoid Them

Party Fouls to Avoid Zone 28 Blog | Pittsburgh

We like to party, you like to party, but nobody likes a party foul. Don’t be that guy or girl and make sure you don’t become the laughing stock of the party! So what does it take to have a good time without party crimes? Read on (and we’re done with rhymes, for a time).

Don't Show Up Empty Handed

Ok, so maybe Zone 28 isn’t that kind of party, or is it? Bring your smile and a fun attitude. Leave negativity at the door. You’re here to enjoy yourself, after all. So, that’s your gift...the gift of joy. Speaking of what to bring, you should also bring your own money. Don’t be the person who mooches drinks and entertainment.

Keep the Drink in the Cup

Accidents happen. We get that. At the very least, try not to spill your drink on someone else. It’s also worth keeping in mind that someone with a stain down their shirt is not exactly going to be making any strikes on the bowling lane, if you know what I mean ; )

Don't Skip Out on the Toast

If your friends want to make a toast to someone or something, grab yourself a glass, stand up and toast. That’s part of the fun. It doesn’t even have to make sense. Toast to your friend that just got married, toast to the weird guy you don’t know who just got a promotion, toast to the Mother of Dragons. It doesn’t matter! Nobody likes a buzzkill.

Don't Ignore the Party

Yes, social media is fun, online games are cool, etc etc. But you know what else is fun and cool? Real life, in the flesh people playing games with each other. Don’t let yourself get distracted from the entertainment around you by a glowing screen. Sure you can send the occasional text and maybe post some pictures, but don’t be off in a corner, forgetting to live in the moment.

Stop Hiding from Pictures

Seriously, you look fine. Nothing looks better than someone with joy on their face. Don’t be that friend that ducks out every time someone aims their phone. No one likes that. We all want to create memories and, let’s face it, share those memories on social media where other people can see them. So unless you’re one of the many people running for President this coming year, thus need to stay away from boozy photos, just suck it up and smile. We even have backdrop for you and your friends to pose in front of.

Ready to Party with Zone 28?

Then come on down. We offer so many kinds of entertainment that the only way to screw it up is by committing one of those party fouls. But we know you’ll be having too much fun for that!
