Zone 28 has 33 bowling lanes in Pittsburgh, 15 minutes from downtown and two minutes off the Turnpike. Lanes are $38 an hour midweek and $65 an hour Friday night through Sunday, for up to six bowlers, shoes included. Cosmic bowling runs all day Wednesday through Sunday, and open bowling is available the entire time we are open — no league, no membership, walk in and bowl.

VIP lanes are the eight private lanes inside Suite 28 and are subject to availability — worth calling ahead for. Six bowlers on a midweek lane works out at a little over $6 each an hour.

The Lanes
33 lanes in total — 25 on the main floor and eight private VIP lanes inside Suite 28, which has its own bar and entrance. The bowling area is open the entire time the centre is open, so open bowling is always available.
Cosmic bowling, all day Wednesday through Sunday. Glow-in-the-dark bowling with laser lights, black lights, music and 12-foot video screens playing music videos. It is not a one-night-a-week gimmick here — it runs five days a week, all day.
Pee wee bowlers welcome. Bumpers, lightweight balls and ramps for the youngest bowlers, so a four-year-old can knock pins down on the same lane as the rest of the family.

While You Are Here
The lanes sit inside a 50,000 square foot complex, all indoors and air-conditioned. Under the same roof: an 88+ game arcade including two virtual reality games, a 3,000 square foot laser tag arena for up to 30 players, two escape rooms, the Rail House Restaurant, the End Zone Sports Bar, and an outdoor Beer Park with cornhole and bocce.
All video, ticket and prize games are half price all day Wednesday, which pairs well with the $38 lane rate. Game cards carry bonus play: spend $20 get $5, spend $40 get $12, spend $60 get $20, spend $100 get $40.
