Team Building at Zone 28
Zone 28 runs corporate team building for groups of 10 or more, 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and 2 minutes from the PA Turnpike. Twister Bowling is $40 per person for two hours of bowling with a spinner of goofy challenges that levels the field, a game of laser tag and a pizza buffet; Escape Zone is $20 per person for a one-hour escape room, set in a motel room or an old mine. Both run Wednesday and Thursday, for companies and adults, and the catering comes from our own kitchen. Larger or other-day groups use our standard packages from $22 per person, which start at 15 guests.

Why Zone 28 for a team day
The activity is the point, and it is on site: 33 bowling lanes, a 3,000 sq ft laser tag arena, 2 escape rooms, 88+ arcade games and pool tables, all under one roof and all air-conditioned.
Escape rooms and Twister Bowling put a team on the same problem rather than at the same table — strategy, teamwork and problem solving, which is what a team day is bought for. And Twister Bowling's spinner means the best bowler in the office doesn't automatically win.
Food comes from our own kitchen rather than an outside caterer, one coordinator runs the day with you, and we are 15 minutes from downtown with free parking — so nobody loses an hour to travel.

What Twister Bowling is
Twister Bowling is bowling with a spinner: hit the button to stop it, then bowl whatever challenge it lands on — between your legs, wearing oven mitts, or one-handed while holding a six-pound ball like a baby. It levels the playing field, so one league bowler in the group can't crush the whole team.
The two escape rooms
Room 113 is a motel room, and you have one hour to get out before the killer comes back for you. It has fake blood and fake body parts, so it may not suit younger audiences.
Hidden Below is an old mine, and you have one hour to get out before the air runs out. You get there in an elevator that feels like it takes you down into the ground.

Suite 28, when the team day should be private
From $41 per person. Two hours of bowling · one game of laser tag · a $10 arcade game card · an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet with any toppings, salad and breadsticks · soft drinks included · bar available.
Two sizes: the Half Suite takes 20 to 40 guests, and the Full Suite, with full access to all private amenities, takes 40 to 200. From Thanksgiving to Martin Luther King Jr. Day the minimums rise to 30 for the Half Suite and 50 for the Full Suite.
Suite 28 has its own entrance, its own bar and state-of-the-art audio and video, and a retractable wall that splits the space for two groups — useful when two departments run the same afternoon.
That is the starting package. Higher tiers and upgrade prices are quoted by the events team.
What's included
In every package: lane or arena time, a dedicated event coordinator, and setup and cleanup. Catering is chosen from our own kitchen — the same one that runs the Rail House.
What isn't: alcohol is extra — an open bar, drink tickets, or a two-hour bar package from $25 per person — and the 12% service charge applies to any reservation with food. Prices are per person before tax. A 50% deposit holds the date and the balance is due in full before the event; we don't invoice companies or take purchase orders.

Ten guests, which is lower than every other package we sell. Team building runs Wednesday and Thursday only, is for companies and adults, and should be booked at least three days ahead. A team of 10 to 14 that cannot hit the 15-guest minimum on our other packages can still book.

Team building itself is for companies and adults. School groups, camps, sports teams, churches and family groups are very welcome on our standard group packages, and field trips have their own page.
Yes. Suite 28 has its own private bar, and the End Zone sports bar carries 100+ beers with 20 rotating taps. There are three ways to run the bar: an open bar, drink tickets in regular or high-end, or a two-hour bar package with everything included at $25 per person, or $30 per person high-end. The Ultimate 28 package also includes two alcoholic drink tickets per person.

Yes, for everything. The building has two levels, four steps apart, joined by ramps, so nobody has to use the stairs to get between activities. There are bowling ramps at the lanes, our laser tag arena is wheelchair accessible — most arenas are not — and the restrooms are wheelchair accessible too.
Free on-site parking. We are at 2525 Freeport Rd, 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and 2 minutes from the PA Turnpike, which makes us straightforward for teams travelling in from across Western Pennsylvania.
