Zone 28 hosts company outings and employee appreciation days in Pittsburgh for 15 to 600 people, entirely indoors and air-conditioned, so the date never depends on the forecast. Packages start at $22 per person and combine bowling on 33 lanes, laser tag and the arcade, with picnic food from our own kitchen from $41 per person.

What size group works

40 to 200 people	Suite 28 takes the whole group privately — eight lanes of its own, its own bar and its own entrance. Or keep the main floor and use Suite 28 for the meal.
200 to 400 people	The group spreads across 33 lanes, the laser tag arena, 88+ arcade games and the escape rooms, on a rotation your coordinator sets.
Up to 600 people	Our published ceiling. At that size, ask about a Monday or Tuesday — we open for groups of 75 or more and the building is yours.

Why not a park shelter

The cost lands where you can see it. A shelter looks cheap until you add the caterer, the rentals, the games, the insurance certificate and the hours your own staff spend setting up. A per-person price with the activity, the food and the staffing inside it is a number you can take to a budget meeting.

Everyone has something to do. Bowling, laser tag, 88+ arcade games and two escape rooms cover the competitive, the social and the people who would rather watch — across ages from 5 to 85. A field and a cooler do not.

It is 15 minutes from downtown. 2525 Freeport Rd is 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh via Route 28, 2 minutes from the PA Turnpike, with an on-site lot that takes 10 or more buses, so nobody is driving 40 minutes each way to a park.

Picnic food, from our own kitchen

The barbecue is the picnic menu. The All American buffet is $55 per person: slow-roasted pulled pork, barbecue ribs, hot sausage, salad and rolls, plus any three sides from Caesar salad, a fruit platter with strawberry dip, roasted red skin potatoes, broccoli with oil and garlic, rigatoni and Alfredo pasta. It is everything a shelter-and-grill picnic serves, without anyone from your team standing over a grill.

Cheaper and simpler. The pizza buffet is $41 per person — unlimited gourmet pizza with any toppings, breadsticks and salad. It is the one most company outings pick when the food is not the point of the day.

Eight buffets in all, $40 to $80 per person. Every one includes soft drinks, and every one but the two breakfasts includes salad. Each is a Suite 28 package, so it also carries two hours of bowling, a game of laser tag and a $10 arcade game card. The full list is on the Suite 28 page. Dessert is an add-on: $3 per person for cookie platters, $7 for cannolis and a cheesecake assortment.

The bar is separate. Alcohol is extra — an open bar, drink tickets at $8 and $10.50, or a two-hour package from $25 per person. The End Zone Sports Bar carries 100+ beers and 20 rotating taps, and the Beer Park patio outside has cornhole, bocce, a dog park and a 15-foot TV.

The rained-out picnic problem

A company picnic has one point of failure, and it is the sky. The pavilion is booked, the caterer is paid, forty people have the afternoon off — and the forecast turns on the Wednesday. Every organiser of an outdoor company event has either lived that week or spent it building a backup plan they hope not to use.

Here there is no forecast to check. Everything is indoors and air-conditioned. A 92-degree July Friday and a washed-out one run exactly the same way, at the same time, for the same price. You do not need a rain date, a tent quote or a phone tree.

And nobody has to run it. Setup, the food at a time you set, and cleanup are ours. There is no cooler to pack, no grill to staff, no tables to carry, and nobody from your team spends their own day off hosting.
