There’s always something happening at Zone 28, and the past few weeks have been packed with events, community appearances, football excitement, hockey families, parties, and plenty of fun.
From getting out into the Pittsburgh community to welcoming groups through our doors, here’s a look at what we’ve been up to recently at Zone 28.
Hockey Tournament Weekend Brought the Teams to Town
We loved welcoming hockey players, parents, and families who were in the area for a recent hockey tournament.
Tournament weekends can mean a lot of time at the rink, so Zone 28 gave families a place to keep the fun going between games and after the final buzzer.
Teams could grab some food, hit the bowling lanes, compete in Gamezone, play laser tag, or just relax together before heading back to the rink.
For hockey teams traveling to Pittsburgh, Zone 28 makes an easy team hangout where players, siblings, parents, and coaches can all find something to do.
And yes, the competition sometimes continued off the ice. Apparently hockey players are just as competitive in the arcade.
Football Season Is Here
Pittsburgh football season is officially back, and Zone 28 is ready for game day.
We’ve been getting our TVs, Beer Park, Endzone Sports Bar, food, drinks, and game-day specials ready for football fans looking for somewhere fun to watch the action.
Instead of watching from the couch, guests can grab a drink, order some food, bowl a few frames, play arcade games, and catch the game all in one place.
That’s our kind of tailgate.
Parties Have Been Taking Over Zone 28
Birthdays, team outings, private events, and celebrations have also been keeping us busy.
Between bowling, Gamezone, laser tag, food, and private spaces like Suite 28, there are plenty of ways to build a party around your group.
And judging by some of the birthday smiles we’ve seen lately, the combination of bowling and arcade prizes is still pretty hard to beat.
Half Price Wednesdays Keep Rolling
One tradition that isn’t slowing down anytime soon is Half Price Games Wednesday.
Every Wednesday, guests can head into Gamezone and play participating arcade games for half the regular number of credits.
Whether you’re chasing a high score, saving tickets for something big in the Prize Zone, or trying to beat your friends, Wednesdays are one of the best times to visit the arcade.
ENOZ Has Been Busy Too
Our favorite green alien has had a pretty packed schedule.
ENOZ has been making appearances around Zone 28, visiting community events, getting ready for football season, meeting guests, and finding new ways to cause just enough chaos to keep our marketing team busy.
You’ll probably be seeing a lot more of him soon.
There’s More Coming
Summer may be winding down, but things at Zone 28 definitely aren’t.
With football season underway, fall events approaching, hockey and team outings, new food and drink specials, arcade fun, bowling, parties, and community appearances on the calendar, there’s plenty more happening throughout the rest of the year.
